Funds will also be used to support other local cancer support groups.
Asian American Cancer Support Network was founded in July 2003 by May Bakken and Fidelia Butt, M.D., as a 501c3 non-profit, volunteer- driven organization with a mission to become a community resource network for Asians, Asian-Americans/Pacific Islanders affected by cancer in the Bay Area through social programs and creative fundraising. AACSN programs, services, and resources are welcome to everyone, not just the Asian community.
